and Responsibilities: Dental
Assistants are multi-skilled members of the dental health team. They are
dedicated to assisting the dentist with all phases of dentistry. They guide the
patients to the chairs; give the required instrument to the dentist, etc.
Salary: $23,550-$47,580
Education: There are no formal education
requirements. Some assistants have a high school diploma and receive on the job
training. But there is a dental assisting program that offers more career
training.
I would not
like to be one because I don’t like dentist and the rooms creep me out.
