Final Part 2

Final Part 2
A. I like that we can learn the quotes that can encourage us to do great things. I don’t like that we can’t pick our own topics to write about.
B. I think we should be able to have a bit more free time, more time in our 100+ Goals, and get to choose our own topics and quotes.
C. I really do try my hardest in this class, even thought the brightness of the screen makes my head hurt I try to push myself forward.
D. I do read my goals and when I don’t have my book I write it down or try to remember it so I can write it down later.
E. I am committed because I want to do the right things in life.

F. I do promise because I want to stay Healthy in my life.

Final Part 1

Final: Part1 Showcase
When they first announced that we would have this project I was more than nervous. I wanted to work with the people I knew best and those are my friends. I always feel a bit more confidence when I am with them. The role I had in this project was the graph part. I chose this part because I am good at math so I might as well do something I know best.
When I got put into my group I didn’t know them all that well, I knew their names but other than that I never talked to them. When we worked on this project we all tried our best. Our topic was if the school nurse should be aloud to monitor student weight. we said no because i would feel ashamed knowing how much I weigh, my group members also thought the same thing. One of our group members, Daniel, was never there for the first three or so days. I was really worried this project would not end well. In the end, Daniel came and did his part.
When we practiced for the next day our power point was not finished. All we did was read what was on our flashcards and look up. Eventually, we finished our power point and were kind of ready for the big day.
On the day of the presentation I was really nervous, I was the second one who had come early and started practicing. 5 minutes before the presentation one of our members was not there. My group members and I were really worried because she was our introduction. 1 minute was left before show time and she came. Relief washed over all of us because we wouldn’t know what to say.
When we presented I knew something was gonna go wrong and it did. One of my group members was really nervous and started to stutter like crazy. She eventually paused and went on.

The next week, this very day, I found out we scored a 2/4. I am really upset, know I have to try harder on all of my finals because if I don’t my grades will drop.

“When I do good, I feel good. When I do bad, I feel bad.”

Abraham Lincoln
I agree with this quote because I know people whom have done something wrong and feel really bad after. But when the problem is cleared its like they’re on cloud nine.

You Are In Charge
“Take responsibility for your own body, mind, and spirit, for your own physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.”
Mr. Haymore
I agree with this because no one is ever truly in charge of us. We, as individuals, must take care of or mind, body, and spirit. Without this we never would be truly healthy.

“We need the courage to start and continue what we should do, and the courage to stop what we shouldn’t do.”
Richard L. Evans

I agree with this statement because a lot of people start things but they won’t finish it. Everyone needs to know when and where to start and stop what they are doing otherwise world would be chaos.

Scorpion Sting

Scorpion Sting

In the video a boy named Patrick seven years of age had not listened to what his parents had told him about wearing his shoes. As a young child the curiosity doesn’t go away the children start to explore but there must be rules. Patrick had rules to obey but he didn’t. His parents had told him to wear his shoes when he was walking around because there were scorpions, thorns, etc. that were a danger to him. But Patrick, being only a child, didn’t listen he went on with his adventure and got stung by a scorpion with the feeling like he was dying. Luckily the scorpion was not that harmful, only when it is a baby.

“Always Do The Right.”
Mark Twain
I agree with this statement because when you don’t do something right you will feel regret later on in your life.

When You Tell One Lie It Leads To Another

When You Tell One Lie It Leads to Another
Paul Hatch
When you tell one lie, it leads to another
So you tell two lies to cover up each other
Then you tell three lies and, Oh Brother,
You’re in trouble up to your ears!
So you tell four lies to try to protect you
Then you tell five lies so folks won’t suspect
you.
Then you tell six lies and you’ll collect
A life filled with worries and fears
‘Cause you can’t remember how many lies
you’ve told
And half the things you say aren’t true
And sometimes you’ll slip up, you’ll trip up
And then
Whatever will become of you?
So you lie and lie without even trying
And each lie you tell will keep
Multiplying
‘Till the whole wide world will know
You’re lying
Then you’ll be
Suspected
Detected
Rejected
Neglected
Disliked
And you should!
When you lie, you’re closing the door

On everything good

“When you tell one lie, it leads to another.”
-Paul Hatch

I agree with this quote because I once knew a friend who told a lie and she didn’t mean for it to go far, but it did and instead of telling the truth she made more and more lies to cover the first one up.

The 3 Questions:
Can people trust me to do what’s right?
Am I committed to doing my very best?
Do I treat people the way I want to be treated?
“If the answer to these questions are YES, there is no way you can fail.”
\
Lou Holtz

My answer to these questions are yes. I have been raised to trust other and let others trust me. I also want to do my very best at school and life so I can go far. I do treat some people but not all of them the way I would like to be treated. If a bad person thinks there on top of the world I will bring them down to the level they deserve and not be afraid of them.

Physical Fitness
“Physical Fitness is not only one of the most important keys to a healthy body; it is the basis of dynamic and creative intellectual activity. The relationship between the soundness of the body and the activities of the mind is subtle and complex. Much is not yet understood. But we do know what the Greeks Knew: that intelligence and skill can only function at the peak of their capacity when the body is healthy and strong.”
President John F. Kennedy

I agree with this because without the physical fitness we would all be fat and lazy because we just eat. Where would sports and other activities be just because we don’t have Physical Fitness. No job would be done right.

Dermatologist

Dermatologist
Duties and Responsibilities: Dermatologist specializes in preventing, diagnosing, and treating skin disease and conditions. They also perform minor outpatient surgeries, such as removing legions, warts, moles, or cancerous cells from the skin. Normally, a sample of the removed cell is sent off for biopsy.
Salary: $166,400 annually
Education: They need four years for bachelors, four years for medical degree, and three in residency training. They also must successfully pass the USMLE exam, the American Board of Dermatology’s Board Certification Test, and meet the licensing requirements for the state they wish to work in.

I would not like to be a Dermatologist because I don’t like pimples even though its natural it is kinda gross.
