I have seen a video where a boy gets a ball. Another boy was next to him, and he was sad when he didn’t get it. The boy with the ball got up and gave the little boy his ball. After that people saw what just happened on TV and he got a baseball signed by his favorite player and his friends got contracts so they could get into games for free. What he did was very sweet because when you catch a ball you never know when a chance like that could ever happen but he was generous enough to give it to the little boy.

Thanksgiving and Thanksgiving Day

Thanksgiving holiday was not celebrated annually until the 19^th century. One of the presidents moved thanksgiving a week before it was supposed to happen. Then another decided that it should be on the fourth Thursday of November every year. What we eat for thanksgiving is not what they ate. They originally ate deer and probably plain cranberries not a sauce of it. They did not have turkeys, potatoes, or pumpkin because for one potato were not introduced to England around that time.

I think that this day is great because it shows that everyone can get together and be one.

I agree with this because many people will be told not to say or do something but they will end up doing it. When someone tells a lie and it spreads and everyone believes it is wrong. Having a party without a guardian knowing is wrong.

Duties and Responsibilities: Dental Assistants are multi-skilled members of the dental health team. They are dedicated to assisting the dentist with all phases of dentistry. They guide the patients to the chairs; give the required instrument to the dentist, etc.

Salary: $23,550-$47,580

Education: There are no formal education requirements. Some assistants have a high school diploma and receive on the job training. But there is a dental assisting program that offers more career training.

I would not like to be one because I don’t like dentist and the rooms creep me out.

Duties and Responsibilities: Dental Lab Technicians fill in orders for dental prosthetics, including dentures, bridges, crowns, veneers and inlays. They create models of patients’ mouth from physical and sometimes computerized molds. They create the molds with plaster, wax, porcelain, metal, and hand tools.

Salary: $36,440

Education: The education they require is a high school diploma or a GED certificate.

I think I would like to be a dental lab technician because you create molds of teeth which is pretty cool.

Veterans Day

Veterans Day

On this day we celebrate the soldiers that have died and lived on this day. On the 11^th hour of the 11^th day of the 11^th month it was silent and they knew that they had won the war with Germany. After the war, they found bodies that could not be identified and put them in a cemetery and call it “The Unknown”.

My thoughts on this is that what the soldiers did is very brave because the risked their lives for their families and our freedom. Some may have survived but some had died in the war.

Education: They need a Master’s degree and a certificate from a dance school.

I would like to be one because I like to dance and teaching others the fun in dancing.
