"Bless You"

“Bless You”

These words are spoken because a sneeze is a meaning of plague so when they say it the mean to be healthy.This saying originated ages ago they come from, ancient words in Russia they tell the kids to grow big, in china they mean may you live 100 years. This saying originated because people would be scared of the devil chasing them or being caught in a plague. The saying originated in a lot of places but the saying “God Bless You” was discovered by a Pope, Gregory the Great, which was meant to keep plague away. “Gesundhiet” comes from Germany meaning health so they say it to be healthy. In Russia the say “bud zdorov” meaning be healthy or “rosti Bolshoi” meaning grow big. In China they tell the kids “bai sui” telling them, may you live a 100 years.
