“Presidents Day”
Monday, February 16
Presidents
day is an American holiday celebrated the third Monday of February. They
originally had it as George Washington’s Birthday but then they decided it was
to be put in between Abraham Lincoln and George Washington’s birthday. They had made it like and extra day to relax, another weekend.
Some schools teach the students about Presidents day before it has actually
arrived so they know the accomplishments of Washington and Lincoln. This day was originally to honor the soldiers that had
died in war.
